Jet Drive expected to reopen Wednesday (July 30)
Work on a storm drain replacement project that closed Jet Drive between Holmes Boulevard and Willard Road has taken longer than anticipated. It is expected the road will be reopened by Wednesday, July 30. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Resurfacing of several streets to start Monday, Aug. 10, 2026
Resurfacing will begin Monday, Aug. 10, 2026 on the following city streets: Alabama Avenue, Baggett Place, Linstew Drive, Kepner Drive, and Okaloosa Road. Work is expected to take 1-2 days at each site.
Memorial Parkway resurfacing to start Aug. 3, 2026
Beginning the week of Aug 3, 2026, a contractor working for the City of Fort Walton Beach will begin resurfacing work on Memorial Parkway from Hollywood Boulevard north to Beal Parkway. Work is weather-dependent and expected to last 1-2 days.
