The Fort Walton Beach Fire Department was joined by members of the public and City Council to celebrate the department's new Engine 7 during a "push-in" ceremony Thursday. The department also honored longtime firefighter Calvin "P-Nut" Pina.

Firefighters recognized by PAWS for saving dogs from house fire
Captain Sam Signer and Firefighter David “Leo” Leonard with the Fort Walton Beach Fire Department were recently recognized by the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society for rescuing two dogs from a house fire.
