The City of Fort Walton Beach has two upcoming meetings scheduled for Wednesday, Sept 9, 2026, at City Hall. There will be a CRA Board Meeting at 5 p.m., followed by a Special City Council Meeting.

FWB Sanitation Division to add additional trash collection day in October
The City of Fort Walton Beach’s Sanitation Division will begin providing twice-per-week residential trash collection on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026. The new “2-1-1 service” will provide 2 trash pickups, 1 recycling pickup, and 1 yard waste pickup per week.
