Danville Transit to modify service for marathon
Danville Transit will modify fixed-route bus service from 6 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, to accommodate the Three Sisters Marathon. During that time, door-to-door service will be provided in certain fixed-route areas.

Amtrak service to pause in Danville for 9 days
Amtrak service in Danville will be temporarily suspended for nine days in October while infrastructure improvements are made near Union Station in Washington, D.C. The temporary suspension will run from Oct. 17 through Oct. 25.
