Governor Abigail Spanberger, while in Danville today, announced Virginia’s first Director of Outdoor Recreation, a new position focused on growing the outdoor recreation economy, supporting tourism, and driving economic development.

The Danville Police Department is seeking assistance identifying a person of interest in a burglary that occurred around 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, in the 2700 block of West Main Street at the Danville Golf Club.
