A COASTAL FLOOD WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11AM SATURDAY. 2-3ft of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways is expected. High tide at Messick Point: 8:17PM on Thurs, 8:40AM & 8:55PM on Fri, & 9:18AM on Sat.

Notice of Shellfish Area Condemnation Effective 10/15/26
Here are the updated links to the shellfish closures cond054-021 "Back River" and cond054-215 "Harris River and Long and Grunland Creeks". Both are found in the Cities of Poquoson and/or Hampton and both are scheduled to go into effect on 10/15/26.
