Fly-In & Car Show set Sept. 26

The City of Madisonville and Lazy 8 Flight School will host a Fly-In & Car Show Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2207 Airport Lane. The free event will feature airplanes, classic and custom cars, family activities, food trucks and discovery flights.

Landowner workshop set Sept. 29

Madison County landowners can get free, expert guidance on cost-share opportunities, farm programs and conservation planning at a workshop Sept. 29 in Madison County. The 1 to 5 p.m. event at the fairgrounds will feature USDA, appraisal district and forestry speakers.

Hispanic Heritage Festival set for Sept. 12

The Hispanic Heritage Association will host its annual festival Sept. 12 at Lake Madison Park, featuring live music, dance performances, a parade, a car show and vendors. Admission is free, with a Kids Zone and more than 30 local businesses expected.
