There is a flood alert for Thursday, October 1st in Hampton for a 10.4 ft high tide, which is expected to peak around 3:00 PM.

There has been a delay in the start of the Sewer Inflow and Infiltration (I/I) Removal Project in the Kentville, Charles, Chase & Ross Area.
Update! Smoke Testing - Sanitary Sewers 10/6 & 10/7
Wright-Pierce, on behalf of the Hampton DPW, will be conducting sanitary sewer surveys that will involve smoke testing & dye testing of the sewer pipes on King’s Highway, and associated side streets, from Boar’s Head to 6th Street on Oct. 6-7, 2026.

A strong coastal storm will inpact New England this weekend. Several days of strong northeast winds, large waves, and rising tides will push water levels above normal in Hampton over multiple high tides. Minor flooding in low lying areas is expected.
