Be Alert: Traffic Shift Coming to Watson Sep. 17
One half of the new bridge over Gravois Creek in Crestwood, located between Pardee Lane and Brookview Drive, has been constructed, and crews are expected to shift traffic onto the new bridge Thursday, Sep. 17.
Traffic Alert: Long Elementary School
In the coming months, a new traffic signal and crosswalk will be installed at the intersection of Garber Road and the entrance to Long Elementary School. Until the new signal is installed, vehicles exiting the parking lot may only turn right.

Sanders Home Demolition Set for Sep. 15
Demolition of two homes, 963 and 967 Sanders Drive, is scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, Sep. 15, as part of the Sanders Park Expansion Project. The project is part of a partnership MSD to address recurring overland flooding along Sanders Drive.
Liggett Avenue Revised Traffic Calming Design Approved
On Sep. 8, 2026, the Board of Aldermen approved the revised traffic calming measures for Liggett Ave. that replaces the previously approved traffic circles with raised concrete islands at Leawood Drive, Grovena Drive and Coffey Court.
City Bolsters Public Works Team
Crestwood is strengthening its building and code enforcement services with a new Building Inspector position. John Kintz has been promoted to Building Inspector, while Nikki Ruhland has transitioned from the police department to code enforcement.
