Jessica Muise Nominated as Biddeford City Councilor for Ward 4
Mayor Liam LaFountain has nominated Jessica Muise as the City of Biddeford’s next City Councilor for Ward 4 for the remainder of the current term, which expires in December 2027. Her appointment is subject to confirmation by the City Council on Sept. 1.
City Manager Search Information
Mayor Liam LaFountain and the Biddeford City Council have contracted with Gerrish Municipal Consulting Services of Brunswick, Maine to conduct a search for the next City Manager.
Biddeford and Saco Selected for National Homeless Response Peer Network
The Cities of Biddeford and Saco have been selected for the 2026 Homeless Response Peer Network, a national program of the Housing Solutions Lab at New York University’s Furman Center that will strengthen their regional response to homelessness.
Property Tax Bill Information

Notice is hereby given that the City of Biddeford, Maine, intends to submit an application to the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (MDEP) for approval of a proposed composting/solid waste facility located in the City of Biddeford.
Notice Of Intent To File: Maine Waste Discharge License (UNE)
The University of New England (UNE), of 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, ME 04005 intends to file a wastewater discharge permit with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
