An East Somerville laundromat transforms into an art gallery
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Cambridge photographer Mario Quiroz is exhibiting a project documenting Somerville’s only dual language K-8 program in a surprising setting. “It’s a collective living room,” he said of City Line Laundromat.

The good, the bad and the nude at Somerville's The Loov
The creative studio hosts an unpredictable list of programming: nude figure drawing, salsa dancing, concerts, improv comedy, yoga and theater. "The idea is that, if it's a Loov show, it's going to be lit or terrible, but it's not going to be boring," said founder David London.
