City proposes $9.8M budget, at tax rate
Madisonville is proposing a $9.8 million budget for fiscal year 2027 that keeps the tax rate at $0.6939 per $100 valuation but raises the average homestead bill 9% to $1,157. A public hearing on the budget and tax rate is set for Sept. 21 at City Hall.
