About this event
Join us at the September TIA Incubator for a keynote and fireside chat with Sára Nožková.
Nožková is an entrepreneur and deep-tech innovator working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, transportation, and nature conservation. Armed with a background in smart mobility and autonomous systems, she spent over a decade working in the transportation sector, including roles focused on ground transport systems and drone technologies at the Integrated Transport Research Lab at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Her deep interest in linguistics, technology, and animal behavior led her to identify a critical, costly gap: the growing number of dangerous human-wildlife conflicts, ranging from deer and moose train collisions to bird strikes at airports.
Translating research out of KTH’s AI research lab, Nožková co-founded Flox (also known as Flox Robotics / Flox Intelligence), a deep-tech climate-tech startup where she serves as CEO. The company develops AI systems and autonomous solutions—deployed on fixed installations, vehicles, and drones—that use species-specific signals to guide animals away from critical infrastructure. Under her guidance, Flox developed technology that deters wildlife without causing harm, protecting natural resources in agriculture and forestry and safeguarding transportation networks such as railways and runways. Her leadership led to Flox being named among the top drone startups globally and winning prestigious honors such as Sweden’s SKAPA innovation prize.
Nožková’s entrepreneurial achievements have earned widespread international recognition within the startup and climate-tech communities. She was named Sweden’s Female Founder of the Year and received the Swedish King’s Young Innovator Award, alongside being highlighted among Sweden’s top young entrepreneurs by Företagarna and top ClimateTech startup CEOs by HackSummit. Spearheading Flox’s global reach, she relocated to New York to drive North American expansion, raise venture funding, and secure spots in premier accelerators such as the GENIUS NY program to scale autonomous wildlife intelligence worldwide.
