I Am Your Beast

Please join us as FMST hosts game developers Xalavier Nelson Jr. (Strange Scaffold founder) and Ashlyn Sparrow (University of Chicago professor) for an artist talk and playthrough. Both creators design experimental, socially engaged games that interrogate power and industry constraints.

Following a discussion on their creative practices and industry experiences, Nelson and Sparrow will host a live commentary playthrough of I Am Your Beast (developed by Strange Scaffold). Guests are invited to play along, comment, and ask questions.
