Be Alert: Traffic Shift Coming to Watson Sep. 17
One half of the new bridge over Gravois Creek in Crestwood, located between Pardee Lane and Brookview Drive, has been constructed, and crews are expected to shift traffic onto the new bridge Thursday, Sep. 17.
Traffic Alert: Long Elementary School
In the coming months, a new traffic signal and crosswalk will be installed at the intersection of Garber Road and the entrance to Long Elementary School. Until the new signal is installed, vehicles exiting the parking lot may only turn right.
Asphalt Paving Scheduled for Big Bend at Old Orchard
Work is scheduled from Wednesday, September 16 to Friday, September 18, weather permitting. Crews are working at night to reduce the impact on school and business traffic.
Microsurfacing Planned for Early October
Several streets in northeast Webster Groves are scheduled for microsurfacing around the first week of October, weather permitting.
Liggett Avenue Revised Traffic Calming Design Approved
On Sep. 8, 2026, the Board of Aldermen approved the revised traffic calming measures for Liggett Ave. that replaces the previously approved traffic circles with raised concrete islands at Leawood Drive, Grovena Drive and Coffey Court.
Traffic Notice: Water Main Replacement
Etzel Ave. Street Improvement Project Underway
The St. Louis County Etzel Avenue pavement repair project began Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Work is being completed along Etzel Avenue from Pennsylvania Avenue to Ferguson Avenue.
