Temporary Closure of I-68 Eastbound On-Ramp at Exit 42 for Water Line Repair
The City of Cumberland Public Works Department advises motorists that the I-68 eastbound on-ramp at Exit 42 from northbound U.S. Route 220 will be temporarily closed to all traffic while city crews perform a water line repair.

On Monday, September 28, 2026 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Walnut Place will be closed from Greene Street to Paca Street.

Downtown Milling and Paving Scheduled to Begin September 28
The City of Cumberland will perform milling and paving on Pershing Street and Union Street from Mechanic to S. George Street, including a portion of S. Liberty Street. The work will begin Monday, September 28 and continue through Friday, October 2.
