The R.B. Annis Sensory Experience: Level One

The R.B. Annis Sensory Experience Zone reconfigures the Basile Gallery as a responsive, motion`- activated environment in which visitors' gestures generate a shifting, immersive field of sensory feedback. Conceived as the first phase of an ongoing research initiative, the project positions Herron as a site for experimentation in 4D Design at the intersection of art, science, and technology. The zone operates through iterative "deployments," periodically docking in the Basile Gallery while extending to site-specific locations across campus, where each activation advances the system's evolving capacities.  The R.B.
