Kids' Guernica

Kids' Guernica is a global art project that brings children together through collaborative painting on giant canvases modeled after the scale of Picasso's Guernica (3.5 m × 7.8 m). The project uses art as a shared language for peace, connection, and collective expression. On August 15, volunteers who support Japanese-language learning for Japanese heritage-language families in Indianapolis will join the Kids' Guernica Project. Ahead of the event, our students will help prepare the canvas—playing an important role in bringing this international peace-building artwork to life.
