About this event

This training is intended exclusively for Community Work-Study (CWS) partner agencies. Join us on the IU Indianapolis campus for a professional development and networking opportunity designed specifically for Community Work-Study agency supervisors. This training will serve as the mandatory supervisor training for individuals who wish to supervise IU Indianapolis students through the Community Work-Study program during the 2026–2027 academic year. Attendees will receive important program updates, guidance on supervising student employees, and opportunities to engage with fellow supervisors and community partners. Whether you are a seasoned supervisor or new to the program, this event provides valuable insights, resources, and connections to support student success. We strongly encourage all current and prospective supervisors to attend. This is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow Community Work-Study partners, share best practices, and strengthen our collective impact on student development and community engagement. Complimentary parking and lunch will be provided for all attendees. Each attendee must complete their own RSVP and lunch survey. After your registration has been received, you will receive a confirmation email. Additional details regarding the event location, parking instructions, and event logistics will be shared closer to the event date. If you need to cancel your registration, please notify Mary Garcia in the Office of Student Employment as soon as possible.Registration will close on July 28th at 5:00 PM to accommodate catering requirements and final meal counts. Registrations submitted after this deadline may still be accepted; however, lunch cannot be guaranteed for late registrants.
