Community Invited to 2026 International Coastal Cleanup at Clam Bayou Nature Park Help Keep Gulfport’s Shorelines Clean on October 10 Gulfport Grassroots, Keep Pinellas Beautiful, and the City of Gulfport are proud to host the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup at Clam Bayou Nature Park on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. This community cleanup event is part of a global effort to remove harmful trash and debris from coastlines and waterways. Residents and volunteers of all ages are encouraged to join in this hands-on opportunity to protect local ecosystems, beautify natural areas, and contribute to a healthier Gulfport. Why It Matters: Each year, millions of tons of trash enter the ocean, harming wildlife, polluting beaches, and burdening taxpayers. Cleanup efforts like these directly reduce the impact of marine and land-based debris across Pinellas County ecosystems, while fostering civic engagement and environmental responsibility.
