City of Gulfport 9/11 Commemoration

City of Gulfport to Host 7th Annual 9/11 Commemoration at Veterans Park The City of Gulfport is honored to announce its 7th Annual 9/11 Commemoration, scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. Now marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, this solemn gathering brings together community members, local leaders, first responders, and veterans to honor the lives lost and the extraordinary heroism displayed on that tragic day. The program will include a moment of silence, lowering of the flag, and special remarks to commemorate the resilience, unity, and bravery that continue to inspire the nation. The City invites all residents and visitors to join in this important tribute.
