Supervisors Approve $7 Million Grant-Funded Renovation of Grass Valley Veterans Hall
Supervisors selected Deacon Construction to design and build the project, with construction expected to begin in August 2027 and be completed in about a year. The 1932 building will be closed during the renovation.
Nevada County Supervisors Approve $500,000 Grant to Support Penn Valley Community Center
The approximately 10,000-square-foot community center received approval from the Nevada County Planning Commission on June 25. The facility is designed to provide services, programs and gathering spaces for Penn Valley residents, businesses and visitors.
