Where our place data comes from, and the terms it carries
Overture Maps
Place listings on thePulse are seeded from the Overture Maps Foundation places theme, then corrected and enriched by our community. Overture assigns every place a stable GERS identifier, which is what lets us re-sync against later releases without losing the corrections made here.

The seeded corpus carries the following source datasets and licence terms. Counts are of published places and are read directly from our own records. Counts as of 10 September 2026, 03:04 UTC, refreshed twice daily.
